Dental crowns in Bryan, Texas, are reliable restorations that can give you the healthy and beautiful tooth you’re looking for. The process involved in placing a dental crown is easy and painless. The entire process requires two trips to MajorSmiles, and when you complete your second appointment, you will have the results you are looking for.

You can expect the following dental crown treatment steps:

Step 1: Dr. David Sun will first examine your tooth and smile by taking a variety of dental X-rays. The X-rays will help your dentist determine the health and condition of your tooth’s roots and the surrounding bones.

Step 2: Your dentist will then numb the tooth and surrounding area with a local anesthetic. Once you are numb, he will trim the outer layer of your tooth to allow room for the crown.

Step 3: When your tooth is the perfect size and shape, your dentist will use a paste or putty to make an impression of your tooth. The impression will then be sent to the dental lab where your dental crown is created. While you wait for the crown to be made, you will be given a temporary crown.

Step 4: When your new crown is ready, you will come into our office for your second visit. During this visit, your dentist will remove the temporary crown and will cement the new crown into place.
